Boccia is a Paralympic sport for athletes with disabilities that have a major impact on motor skills. Boccia is a target ball sport belonging to the same family as petanque and bowls.

Boccia Wales was formed in 2007 with the aim of developing a pathway for players from Grass Roots to Elite Competitive opportunities.

 

Since its inception Wales has been represent at National & International level, with Jacob Thomas from Pembrokeshire representing GB at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
