Conwy

Welcome to Conwy's page on the Disability Sport Wales Website.

My name is Mark Richards, Disability Sport Wales Development Officer for Conwy. I am based within the Sports Development Unit at Conwy County Borough Council.

Conwy has a wide range, and some of the best sporting opportunities in Wales for Disabled people. This website details both club based opportunities and different sessions that take place within leisure centres on a regular basis.

Conwy CBC have achieved insport Development Bronze which highlights the inclusive nature of our sports development department so please feel free to get in touch with our sports development team if you have any enquiries.

In Conwy we look to provide a range of opportunities so that people can find appropriate outlets based on what they want to do, their impairment and whether they would just like to take part in a participation opportunity or compete and pursue performance pathways.

Although we have a good range of sports available we are always looking to increase our provision so if you would like to do something that we currently don't provide or would like to help us provide more sports then please get in touch.

If you are a coach or volunteer there is also the UK Disability Inclusion Training Course (UK DIT) which is currently available in Wales, courses run several times over the year so please contact me for upcoming dates.
