Michelle Lewis is the Disability Sport Wales officer for NPT and would like to welcome you to the Disability Sport Wales Website.
Within NPT there are various local voluntary sports clubs to leisure centres, swimming pools and multi-use games areas. The provision ranges from Archery, Bowls and Canoeing to Surfing and Walking, there really is something for everyone.
If you are a coach or volunteer there is also the UK Disability Inclusion Training Course (UK DIT) which is currently available in Wales, courses run several times over the year so please contact me for upcoming dates.
In order to help support clubs deliver good quality sessions Disability Sport Wales have introduced insport. The four tiered (Ribbon, Bronze, Silver and Gold) identification and accreditation process which any sports club can go through to show they are committed to providing and delivering inclusive sport.
If your club is interested about becoming an insport club, to gain the benefits, become inclusive, please get in touch and we can start your journey together.
