Around 80 people took to the water in Powys over the weekend for a disability sport event.
The third annual kayak and sailing fun day took place at Llangorse Lake and gave disabled people the opportunity to enjoy a day afloat either sailing or kayaking.
Participants were able to try out a variety of boats under the care and instruction of volunteers. The Welsh Special Olympics kayaking team also made a special appearance alongside local politicians Roger Williams MP and Kirsty Williams AM.
The event was organised by Martin Hurst and Beverley Tucker from Powys County Council. Both were delighted with the turnout and Martin said: "It was a wonderful day with lots of people coming along to try the activities.
"This is the third time such an event has been held in Powys and it's wonderful to see the interest and number of participants growing each year."
Organisers extend their thanks to Brookbank Canoes and Kayaks; the helpers from Anglers Afloat - some of whom had travelled from as far as London and Hull for the event; and of course to Llangorse Sailing Club for hosting the event, taking participants out in the boats and providing refreshments.
