Seven Welsh athletes will compete at the World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai over the next week as part of a strong British team of 41.
With 15 global Gold medals between them Aled Davies, Olivia Breen and Hollie Arnold will all be hoping to increase this already magnificent medal tally. Joining them in Dubai is World Para Athletic European Champions Sabrina Fortune and Harri Jenkins plus DSW Para Academy athletes Kyron Duke and Jordan Howe.
It will be a fifth World Championships for F63 shot putter Aled Davies and Hollie Arnold in the F46 Javelin. Olivia Breen who won Gold at both the 2015 and 2017 World Championships is the only welsh athlete to compete in two events in what is her third world champs and she will contest the T38 long jump and 100m.
Breen is the first welsh athlete to compete tomorrow at 14.06 in the Long Jump.
