The Federation of Disability Sport Wales is a not-for-profit organisation. In July 2011 the organisation was granted charitable status by the Charitable Commissioner for England and Wales. The organisation is now a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable Status.
Disability Sport Wales was established in 1985 for the sole purpose of benefitting disabled people through the pursuit of sports and physical activity.
To ensure that disabled people are just as likely to have a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity (including sport) as non-disabled people
