Our Team
Disability Sport Wales' national team works to improve or create access to physical activity (including sport) for disabled people across Wales.

Disability Sport Wales is governed by a voluntary Board or Trustees.
The National Team is led by Chief Executive Officer, Fiona Reid, who works full time.
Disability Sport Wales outsources expertise and services from third parties who connect into Fiona as CEO:
- Comms, Media and PR from LloydBell Productions, who provide 50 hours of support per month
- Human Resources from Ashton People Solutions, who provide 14 hours of support per month.
Fiona line manages four members of staff who comprise the Senior Leadership team:
- Tom Rogers, Governance and Partnership Director
- Darren Carew, Head of Active Pathways
- Nathan Stephens, Head of Performance Development
- Nia Jones, Projects Manager
All members of the Senior Leadership Team work full time.
Tom, as Governance and Partnership Director, line manages:
- Dr Jo Hendy, Insight and Learning Senior Officer (maternity cover). Jo works full time.
- Ffion Alexander-Jones, Finance and Charity Officer. Ffion is a part-time officer, working four days per week.
- Charlene Stephens, Administration Officer. Charlene works full time.
- Chris Fox, Digital Brand and Marketing Officer. Chris is a part-time officer, working 14 hours per week.
- Donna Bullivant-Evans, insport Senior Officer. Donna's work programme means that she is line managed by theGovernance and Partnership Director, but also works closely with the Head of Active Pathways. Donna works full time, and in turn line manages:
- Lyndon Williams, insport Case Officer. Lyndon is a contractor and works 14 hours per week.
- Norman Greenhouse, insport Case Officer. Normal is a contractor and works 7 hours per week.
Darren, as Head of Active Pathways, line manages:
- Ben Davies-Thompson, Eductation and Training Officer (maternity cover). Ben works 17.5 hours per week.
- A team of five Regional Partnership Senior Officers, who support disability sport development across Wales:
- Gareth Mills-Bennett, West Wales. Gareth is a full time officer.
- Leif Thobroe, Central South Wales. Leif is a full time officer.
- Marcus Politis, North Wales. Marcus is a full time officer.
- Stefano Antoniazzi, Mid Wales. Stefano has two roles within Disability Sport Wales, and dedicates 50% of this time to his role as a Regional Partnership Seior Officer.
- Stephen McGrath, Gwent. Stephen is a full time officer.
Nathan, as Head of Performance Development, line manages:
- Robyn Wilkins, Para Sport Event Management Senior Officer. Robyn is a part time officer, working 21 hours per week.
- Emily Ilett, Para Sport Festival Intern.
- Morgan Jones, Performance Pathway Senior Officer. Morgan works full-time, and in turn line manages:
- Tom Martin, Boccia Coordinator. Tom is a part time officer and works 10.5 hours per week.
- John Wilson, Para Bowls Coordinator. John is a part time officer and works 7 hours per week.
Nia, as Projects Manager, line manages:
- Stefano Antoniazzi in his other role within DSW; Intellectual Impairment / Learning Disability Alliance Senior Officer. Stefano spend the other 50% of his time in this role.
- Katie Bowie-Hallam, VI Sport Officer. Katie is a part time officer, and works 14 hours week.
- Dr. Libby Steele, Deaf Sport Senior Officer. Libby works part time, averaging 17.5 hours per week in a 2 day per week / 3 day per week alternating schedule.

Effective Partnerships
Effective partnerships focuses on value-added and support which can be provided to organisations or individuals regardless of where they are, or what they focus on within the pathway. Our Active Pathways provision includes non-elite disability and inclusive sport, including insport Club (Learn more about insport), the Health Disability Activity Pathway (Learn more about the HDAP), and Get Out, Get Active (GOGA) (Learn more about GOGA)

Performance Development provision includes pathways forelite disability and parasport, (through the Paralympic and Commonwealth Games), and connects in to Deaflympic, Virtus and Special Olympic opportunities.

Projects
DSW work with a number of partners to bring about inclusive change and this often starts as project work. Bringing new opportunities to Wales, establishing learning which will create sustainability and legacy, and embedding this work throughout the pathway make a difference to provision. Play Together (Learn more about Play Together) and SPAR insport Series Events (Learn more about insport Series Events) important in ensuring the pathway is more accessible.

National Youth Board
The National Youth Board (NYB) is a group of individuals who are committed to the development of disability sport in Wales. The NYB contributes young disabled people's voices to the development of Disability Sport Wales projects and strategies.
