Learning Disability Active

Disability Sport Wales collaborates with an alliance of partners as Learning Disability Active. Our mission is to make Wales the best country for people with a learning disability to take part in physical activity (including sport) with whom they want, when they want and where they want.

Chair: Sabrina Fortune MBE

“Sport has given me the confidence to be me.

When I was younger, I was shy and nervous, I think LD Active can really help people come out their shell but also show that sports isn't scary.

As Chairwoman I can give the support of someone who has a Learning  Disability, as I know what it’s like and know how much I can help.”
