Community Development Coordinator (Fixed Term) - Prevention & Wellbeing

£21,462 - £22,881 per annum

30 hours per week

Bridgend County Borough Council are seeking a Community Development Co-Ordinator to support the development of community sport and physical activity and increasing the participation rates at identified facilities particularly those available for community use on school sites.

The post will work with a range of community groups,programmes and projects and will support the  development of opportunities for those who are currently less active .The postholder will be a strong communicator and be able to demonstrate a track record of sustainable community development,particularly in the area of sport and physical activity.

The post will be for a fixed term period of 2 years and for 30 hours per week and is supported by Sport Wales.

Applicants should note that a criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
