The first Primary Disability Sport Festival in Denbighshire took place at Ysgol Tir Morfa, with both themselvesUntitled and Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn bringing a squad of up to 20 players. They got to take part in 2 different sports being Sitting Volleyball and Boccia. Before the activities started they got to hear a talk from Local Paralympian James Roberts who participated in Sitting Volleyball about his time in London at the games before having a session coached to them by James himself. The Boccia sessions were taken by Denbighshire Sport Ambassador Aaron Evans who also spoke about his achievements in Disability Sport. For the last part of the festival they then received a talk from Denbighshire Gold Ambassador Michael Kitchen about his role in the county and how he hopes to get "Every Child Hooked on Sport for Life". The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions put on and talks given to them and are looking forward to the next festival.
