DISABILITY SPORT WALES ANNOUNCES CHARITY PARTNERSHIP
Published:3131st October 2012
Disability Sport Wales are delighted to be chosen as South West Wales Chamber of Commerce Charity of the Year for 2012/13.
Jon Morgan, Executive Director, Disability Sport Wales said of the selection, ‘we are delighted to be chosen as South Wales Chamber of Commerce charity in West Wales. Support from organisations such as the Chamber is vital to enable us to continue to grow as a charitable organisation. Every penny raised will be used to support local grassroots opportunities across Wales as well as supporting our young emerging Academy athletes as they strive to be the best they can be.
Lynn Bray, Membership Manger for SWCC commented, ‘The South Wales Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting local charities and each year adopts three charities to support through fundraising activities at events. The Chamber’s Territory Councils in Swansea, Cardiff and Newport vote on the chosen charity for their area and, for the next 12 months, we are delighted that Disability Sport Wales will be the South Wales Chamber of Commerce chosen charity in West Wales.’
Disability Sport Wales is able to influence, include and inspire in sport with the support of our fantastic partners.
