The Welsh contingent within the GB team at the Slovenian Open came home with 4 medals from the Team events.
Scott Robertson (Deeside), Paul Karabardak (Swansea), Robert Davies (Brecon), Paul Davies (Bridgend) & Sara Head (Beddau) all returned with medals, as they continue to prepare for the London 2012 Paralympic Games later this year.
This event was seen as one of the biggest events prior to the Games, and therefore a number of high ranked players and teams attended the event.
In the Class 3 Team, Scott Robertson won Gold, and narrowly lost out on Bronze to finish 4th in the singles event.
In the Class 7 Team, Paul Karabardak won Silver, whilst reaching the quarter-finals in the singles event.
In the Class 1 Team, Robert Davies partnered Paul Davies to a Silver, whilst Rob lost out on Bronze to finish 4th and Paul reached the quarter-finals in the singles event.
Sara Head continued her successful team partnership with english playing partner Jane Campbell winning Bronze in the team event. Sara reached the quarter finals in the singles.
