Swansea Stingrays is a competitive disability swimming club that has developed swimmers from participation levels to high performance. They cater for junior and adult swimmers with a range of disabilities.

They are looking for a Head Coach that will be at least a Level 2 coach who will be able to continue moving the club forward and help develop swimmers and direct them to the various competition pathways that are available to them.

Experience of working with swimmers with a disability is desirable but not essential as support will be made available by coaches and volunteers within the club, however, experience of coaching within a swimming club environment with Development Swimmers is essential.

Due to the nature of the club, the successful candidate will be required to commit to attending galas and events, however, this will only be for 4/5 Saturdays throughout each 12 month period.

Club sessions take place on a Sunday Morning between 9.30 – 10.30 at the Wales National Pool, Swansea; the club will also be holding an additional session at midweek in Morriston from April 2011.

Additional CPD training will be made available if required.

To Apply please send a copy of your CV accompanied by a cover letter to Swansea.Stingrays@ntlworld.com
