A 23-strong team has been announced for the IWAS World Junior Games in Stoke Mandeville on 3-8 August.

An integral member of the throws squad under the watchful eye of Anthony Hughes MBE, who's athletes inc World Record Holders Aled-Sion Davies & Josie Pearson, Josh Clark sees him selected again for the GB Junior Team, and will be hoping to improve on the Bronze in the Shot he gained at the same event in Dubai in 2011.

Newcomer Bradley Wigley (coach: Jane Coia) will also be keen to make his mark on the big stage in the T38m 100m, 200m.

Team leader Katie Jones said: "The team for the IWAS World Junior Games shows that the talent pool within the country is gettingbetter and better. Many athletes who have gone onto medal on the world stage have used these championships as a springboard to success. I’m sure the athletes who have been a part of GB & NI teams previously will help the new crop of athletes competing in Stoke Mandeville this summer.

"It’s another really exciting year for Paralympic sport with the Commonwealth Games, IPC Grand Prix Series, IWAS World Junior Games and IPC European Championships. The appetite for the sport in those taking part and watching continues to grow, and we hope to unearth some of the stars of the future at the start of August."
