Based at Cowdenbeath Sports and Leisure Centre within the Sports Development Team but then on secondment to Disability Sport Fife.
Duties include planning and delivering sports development programmes for individuals of all ages and abilities with a physical, sensory or learning disability. Engaging and consulting with Council Services, Community Planning Partners and target groups and voluntary organisations concerned with disability, thus taking a major part increating and developing partnerships which contribute towards an increase in sporting opportunities and improving lifestyles for all.
You will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) and have a minimum of three years sports management and development experience in working with people with disabilities.
Before an appointment can be confirmed you will be subject to a Scottish Criminal Records Enhanced Disclosure Check and a mandatory Health Assessment.

The Light colour mode is designed using Disability Sport Wales brand colours, to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidance Level AA. This should provide good contrast for most users.
The Dark colour mode is intended for people who dislike bright screens, or wish to use their display in a more energy-efficient way. This option does not meet Web Content Accessibility Guidance Level AA, so may not be suitable for users with visual impairments.
