National Para Pathway Manager  

Working hours:  Full time (42 hours per week to be worked flexibly some evening and weekend work)

Based: Wales National Pool Swansea, though frequent travel is required.

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

As National Para Pathway Manager, you will work closely with the National Performance Director to deliver and support the systematic development of Para swimmers in line with the performance objectives of Swim Wales. Specifically, you will take a lead role in the development of Para swimming across Wales, the pathway management of para swimmers across the network of clubs, and lead on Para specific National Squad activity.                           

You will need to be able to develop strong and engaging relationships with key partners and stakeholders, including British Para Swimming, Local Authorities, Universities, Sport Wales, Swim England, Scottish Swimming and Disability Sport Wales; and you will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, good project management, negotiation and problem solving skills.

You will need to be a proactive and a focused individual, with the ability to work as part of a high performing team.
