More than a Game, a life changer – Lloyd Francis

Like many young boys in Wales, Lloyd fell in love with football when he attended his first session at his local club, RCT Tigers.

His growing passion to play football and his involvement with the Rhondda based club however brought about changes that Lloyd or his mum would never have imagined.

In Mum, Lisa’s words, it was ‘a life changer’.   Lloyd has learning disabilities and RCT Tigers is a club specifically for youngsters with learning disabilities.  They offered Lloyd so much more than skills to kick a ball, but the confidence to communicate, be part of team and lead others.

Lloyd is now head coach at the club.  He’s determined to help the best get even better and everyone else to have a great time playing the ‘best game in the world’.
