The Modern Print Target Club had the official opening of their new range facility at Pennar Community Hall on the 19th August 2010. The evening was attended by Trevor Collins from Modern Print the club’s sponsor, Cabinet Member for Sport and Leisure Rob Lewis, Cabinet Member for Communities and Partnerships Peter Morgan, friends and well wishers who enjoyed the facilities and talking to members about the Club. The Club used this opportunity to present members with trophies they had won during 2010. Angela Miles the disability sports development for Pembrokeshire presented the awards.
The club members won 5 Gold, 8 silver medals in the NSRA Eley national postal competition. The gold medalists Colin Bond, Alan Gibby, Tony Gibby, Ron Hovell and Owen Rosser are invited to the Lords Centre at Bisley Camp on 10th October to shoot at the British finals under the International Sports Federation rules. The Club has 2 new disabled members Michael Lewis and Brian Fagin who both won silver medals. The club also won 23 trophies in the Newport and District Air Rifle league. After the presentation Michael Lewis presented the club with a cheque for£133 raised from various activities. The club is now working towards setting up a range for visually impaired shooters and is grateful to Sport Wales and the Community Chest and Sports Match grants to support this.

The Cynnig Cymraeg (Welsh Offer) is the official recognition of the Welsh Language Commissioner and is given to organisations that have supported the Commissioner’s long-term plan to ensure people can use the Welsh language in all aspects of their lives, in all parts of Wales. The Light colour mode is designed using Disability Sport Wales brand colours, to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidance Level AA. This should provide good contrast for most users.
The Dark colour mode is intended for people who dislike bright screens, or wish to use their display in a more energy-efficient way. This option does not meet Web Content Accessibility Guidance Level AA, so may not be suitable for users with visual impairments.
The Calm colour mode uses colours which may be more suitable for users who are sensitive to bright colours, or prefer lower contrast. This option does not meet Web Content Accessibility Guidance Level AA, so may not be suitable for users with visual impairments.
