Local ex Crystal Palace player, Gareth Davies from Painscastle visited the Brecon Integrated Sports Association on Friday 13th of October. Gareth passed on his skills and enthusiasm to youngsters from Brecon and Ystradgynlais.

"The participants  all got a huge amount out of enjoyment  working with Gareth, and are now inspired to take part in a Football festivals spear headed by the FAW Trust and Disability Sport Wales"

Commented Beverley Tucker, the Disability Sport Wales Development Officer for Powys.

Gareth made it clear to all participants involved,  that there is a clear pathway to success if they are willing to work hard.

This introductory session, will be followed by the setting up of the first Disability Football Club in Powys, based at Llandrindod Wells Sports Centre , administered through , Llandrindod Wells JFC.

The first Disability Football  Session takes place on Monday  13th of November, 7-8pm at the Astroturf.
