Sky Ride Local rides are fun, friendly and free community bike rides that help you get out and explore your local area. They’re led by a British Cycling trained ride leaders who can provide support and give you a few tips, whatever your age or ability.

On Sunday 30th October Newport’s first ever inclusive sky ride will be taking place.

This ride is a great way to introduce yourself or your family to cycling on a traffic-free, route based in the Centre of Newport. At just under one mile long, the circuit is ideal for beginners. Riders are free to complete up to 3 laps.

If you are keen to give cycling a try but need adapted equipment to do so then this is the ride for you as a limited number of adapted bikes will be available for use free of charge.
