General Rules:

Mixed Competition – Male & Female

Three Age Groups: Primary: Reception, Years 1 & 2

Juniors: Years 3-6

Secondary: Years 7-13

There are four levels of ability in each age group and 3 apparatus in each level.

Level A: Vault, Bench, Floor

Level B: Vault, Bench, Floor

Level C: Vault, Bench, Floor

Level D: Vault, Bench, Floor

The teachers must decide which level their gymnast is suited. The same level must be used for

each apparatus.

Gymnasts may enter one level only.

A gymnast may enter a minimum of two apparatus OR all three.

For gymnasts with a visual impairment, audible cues such as clapping may be used.

Coaches/Teachers must notify the judges of their visual impairment before the start of the

competition.

Appropriate clothing must be worn.

Area Championships will be held throughout Wales. The top 3 gymnasts in each age group on each

apparatus will be eligible to enter the National Finals.

Two National Finals will be held. One in the South and one in the North of Wales.

Photography Policy

In order to comply with the laws regarding child protection, the taking of photographs and video footage will only be permitted if there have been NO written objections to it taking place.

Any parent or school who wish to object to allowing photography at the events should send their reasons to:
