The WYA are hosting a Paralympic Day to introduce the Paralympic Classes and to provide guidance and information on the pathway.

Wales currently has one Paralympic sailor - Steve Thomas whostephen thomas sails the Sonar class. Steve has competed at two

Paralympic Games and is on the road to Rio for his third.

The aim of the two days is to recruit more disabled sailors in the Paralympic classes and boost disability sailing in Wales.

There will be a number of classes available for you to have a go in including an Access 303, RS Ventura and 2.4 and a representative from the RYA will be on hand to answer any questions.

Venue -Channel View, Cardiff

Date - 20-21st August

Time - 10:00am - 18:00pm

Plan - Taster session in the morning, racing in the afternoon

There will be Wheel Chair Access available on sight.

Mae'r WYA yn cynnal Diwrnod Paralympaidd i gyflwyno'r dosbarthiadau Paralympiadd ac i ddarparu gwybodaeth ar y llwybr.

Ar hyn o bryd mae gan Gymru un morwr Paralympaidd - Steve Thomas sydd yn hwylio y Sonar. Mae Steve wedi cystadlu mewn dau Gemau Paralympaidd ac mae o ar ei ffordd i Rio am ei trydydd.

Nod y ddau diwrnod yw i recriwtio mwy o morwyr anabl yn y dosbarthiadau Paralympaidd a rhoi hwb i hwylio anabledd yng Nghymru.

Bydd nifer o dosbarthiadau ar gael i chi cael cynnig yn cynwys Access 303, RS Ventura a 2.4 a bydd yna chynrychiolydd o'r RYA wrth law i ateb unrhyw gwestiynau.
