The Welsh Wheelchair Basketball Association are looking to appoint coaching and management staff for the 2013 season,

The roles will be on a voluntary basis but travel expenses will be covered where possible.

We are looking for coaches and managers for the Wales U23, U19, and U15 squads. The majority of training sessions are held at a central location as players travel from North, South, and West Wales.

Training sessions are approximately every six weeks between February and November dependant on club national league fixtures.

Key forthcoming competitions for the squads are as follows:

Junior National Championships – July 26th to 28th

U15 and U19 teams - Stoke Mandeville

Celtic Cup – TBC August 16th and 17th OR August 23rd and 24th

U23 team - Cardiff

Sainsbury’s School Games – September 12th to 15th

U19 team – Sheffield

If you are interested in being involved as a head coach, assistant coach, or manager of any or all of the above mentioned squads, please email a brief declaration of interest including any relevant coaching or management experience and your current level of coaching qualification if appropriate.

We are also looking for additional coaches or volunteers to help the appointed staff at the squad training sessions. This is a great opportunity for coaches to work together and both new and experienced coaches would be welcome.
