2 x Posts
Expenses Only

Closing Date: 19th December 2018

Who are we looking for?

We currently have vacancies for two Head Coaches to lead our 3 x 3 Performance Teams.

We are looking for coaches with a minimum Grade 2 coaching qualification (with a commitment to achieving a level 3 qualification within 18 months of appointment) who are committed to WWBA’s core values of:

– Integrity
– Inclusion
– Excellence
– Collaboration
– Transparency
– Ambition

and who will uphold these values in all aspects of their work.

Late last year it was announced that Birmingham would be the host City for the 2022 Commonwealth Games and that wheelchair basketball would be included for the first time in CG programming. Whilst it is NOT certain that Wales will qualify for the Commonwealth Games in 2022, we need to maximise our potential and work towards qualification as a nation.

WWBA is appointing two National Head Coaches to work with our 3 x 3 National squads; a coach each for the male and female teams. These appointments will initially be for three years with potential for contracts to be extended should Wales qualify for CG2022.

Applicants will be asked to submit a CV, covering letter and complete an equal opportunities monitoring form. All shortlisted applicants must be available for interviews, to be held in person in North Wales or via video conference on Sunday 6th January 2018. For the application pack and further information go to their webiste www.waleswheelchairbasketball.org.uk
