International Women’s Day Workshop 2026

Join us for an evening of workshops and networking to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Hosted by Disability Sport Wales, with support from Bute Energy, the event is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate. The event brings together a range of Paralympic athletes and voices from across Wales, creating space to share experiences, build networks, and learn from one another. Through open discussion and insight from lived experience, the session will include a range of wellbeing focused activities, while also exploring how we can collectively grow and strengthen inclusive physical activity and sporting opportunities for females across Wales.

Sessions will include the following:

  • Athlete Journey presented by current Paralympic Fencer Gemma Collis (4 x Paralympian, 3 x World Cup winner, European silver medalist, and Commonwealth Champion)

  • Interview with Deaflympics GB Football medallist Mandy Troddyn (3 x Deaflympics)

  • A coffee themed workshop delivered by current Para Rower Ben Pritchard (Current PR1 Rowing Paralympic, World and European Champion)

  • An inclusive wellbeing activity delivered by Megan Pritchard, Reform Pilates

  • Networking opportunity including refreshments
