Administration Officer
Disability Sport Wales are looking for an organised, diligent and proactive Administration Officer, with exceptional workflow management skills and an understanding of productive, creative and inclusive administrative functions to enable great organisational working.

Flexible, but with a need to be office-based (when safe) at least one day per week (office locations are Cardiff and Deeside). DSW Head Office in at Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff. CF11 9SW
Salary:
£22,500 pa
Hours:
37.5 hrs/week (full time)
Contract:
Permanent

Travel:
There will be some need to travel within Wales where required

Background:
The Federation of Disability Sport Wales (or Disability Sport Wales (DSW)) are the lead organisation in Wales for disability sport and sport for disabled people. We are a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. We share the vision for sport in Wales (an active nation where everyone can have lifelong enjoyment of sport) and our mission is to:

We do this through the provision of specific programmes (DSWDO Community programme, insport, Performance Pathway Hubs) and services (Education and Training for those involved with physical activity (including sport)) which is intended to support a pathway of choice from initial engagement to performance sport at the highest level. We are a small team of incredibly committed, passionate individuals whose shared purpose is to advocate for an inclusive approach within the sector.

The Opportunity:
The role will be accountable for the day-to-day administrative functions of the team and the organisation, with frequent contact with key stakeholders, individuals contacting DSW and the Trustees. Continuing and extending effective administrative systems will be at the core of the post holders work programme.
The successful applicant will be involved as a key member of the DSW team, involved with their operational duties and therefore successes linked to DSW’s strategic priorities. A personable, creative and conscientious candidate, who can communicate effectively with a range of individuals, and is keen to develop further within the team would be well suited to this role.
Some experience of GDPR and information management, as well as record-keeping and compliance would be beneficial. As DSW are a national organisation there may be some infrequent travel within Wales required.
