Boccia Wales is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified or experienced person to head up the coaching programme for the Academy and National Squad.

The successful candidate should hold a recognised Boccia qualification as well having  a thorough understanding of the sport of Boccia. The Head Coach will also need to demonstrate a commitment to continually develop as coach in line with coaching pathways as they are implemented by the Great Britain Boccia Federation  .

The successful candidate will have excellent planning, organisational and communicative skills, will be responsible, reliable and trustworthy. It will also be a requirement of Boccia Wales that the Head Coach complete an enhanced CRB disclosure form.

A knowledge and understanding of the development of the sport of Boccia within Waleswould be an advantage as well as an appreciation of the individual player and sports specific needs within the International Paralympic Committee classification system for Boccia.
