With the limelight firmly fixed on London this weekend, some attention will be diverted to Stirling in Scotland where the best of the UK Boccia players will compete at the GB Boccia Championships.

Wales will be well-represented by a mix of experienced and new players. leading the pack will be London 2012 Paralympian Jacob Thomas, from Narberth Pembrokeshire, who will be out to capture his third British title in the BC3 Classification group. Alongside him will be GB player at the 2010 World Championships Karl Parrish from Caldicot.

Meanwhile the other classification groups are strongly represented with BC2 2011 British Champion, Andrew Williams from Mold whilst in the BC1 group Rhodri Tudor who picked up a Bronze at the 2011 British Championships.
