An exciting opportunity to deliver a National Award-winning programme as a Health Disability Activity Practitioner in partnership with Disability Sports Wales.

Powys Teaching Health Board are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual in a new role as a Health Disability Activity Practitioner. This is a Powys wide role which is supported and lead Nationally and is fundamental in supporting people with disability across Wales.

The post holder will lead the implementation and delivery of the Health Disability Activity Partnership across the Powys working with health professionals and community groups. This will include the delivering of the Health Disability Activity Pathway training, to achieve the outcomes of promoting improved health and well-being of disabled people through increased levels of physical activity as detailed within the partnership’s national and local delivery plans.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
