Performance Pathway Hub Coordinator

Disability Sport Wales seeks a dynamic, experienced and innovative Performance Pathway Hub Coordinator to join our team, to support the development and progression of athletes and the performance pathway hubs.

Salary: £24,000 pa (1 year, full time with the possibility of extension)

Closing Date: Friday 12th February 2021, at 5pm

Location: DSW are a National Organisation and our presence across Wales is important to us. The location of this post is flexible, Cardiff, Deeside or home-based with travel within Wales where required (and when safe). Head Office is housed within the Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens in the heart of Cardiff, and when it is safe to do so, there will be travel required.

The purpose of the role is:

  1. To support the identification and development of athletes within the Performance Pathway Programme as identified by the Performance Pathway Team
  2. Coordinate the delivery of the Performance Pathway Hub Sessions providing virtual and active delivery opportunities for Athletes
  3. To provide mentoring, outreach and upskilling support for the athletes, coaches and key contacts to support the development of an integrated pathway structure within the sector
