Caroline Matthews has been appointed as Secretary as she has built up an abundance of experience during her ten years as Club Secretary at Archers Wheelchair Basketball Club. Caroline is a Civil Servant; however her role within Welsh Wheelchair Basketball will be vital to the success of the organisation as she will also be Head Coach of the u23 squad. Caroline says “I am very pleased to accept the role with Wales Wheelchair Basketball Association”.
Finally Helen Pearce had s been appointed as Treasurer. Helen is an NGB Operations Officer and NGB National Coaching Co-Ordinator at Angling Cymru. Helen has experience within Wheelchair Basketball through her role as Welfare Officer at Aberystwyth Basketball Club. As with Louise and Caroline, Helen is also very much looking forward to taking on this role and expanding her involvement within the sport of Wheelchair Basketball.
All three appointments will be instrumental in the development of the Welsh Wheelchair Basketball Association and we are looking forward to having them on board.
