SS7 - Effective Communication

This session will be in the Castleton Room at 11:45am.

Effective communication means that organisations will reach out to a wider audience and ensure that disabled people feel valued, welcomed and included. This interactive workshop will highlight the importance of inclusive communication and identify simple strategies which you can take back to the workplace.

Today we will:

1. Explore accessible communication formats for different impairment groups
2. Identify tools which would enhance your reach and connect to disabled people more effectively
3. Identify positive inclusive communication techniques within media and communciation
