About insport
The insport programme is a strategic programme led by Disability Sport Wales to drive cultural change across the physical activity and sport sector in Wales. Its purpose is to influence attitudes, approaches, and provision to ensure that disabled people are meaningfully included in all aspects of organisational planning and delivery.
Through insport, we aim to embed inclusion at the heart of our partners’ work, ensuring that disabled people are actively considered as both participants and contributors within their organisations and wider communities.
Disability Sport Wales use the insport programmes to achieve this by developing effective partnerships with National Governing Bodies of Sport (insport NGB), National partners, 3rd Sector organisations, Local Authorities and Regional Sport Partnerships (insport Partnerships), and clubs (insport Club) to support and influence the inclusion of disabled people.
