Regulated Activity

Any form of health, personal care or support provided by, or supervised by a professional is a Regulated Activity.

 

 

Unsupervised Activities

Can be Regulated Activity or Not Regulated Activity

The following are all Regulated Activities:

  • Coaching
  • Teaching
  • Training
  • Instruction
  • Providing advice/guidance on well-being
  • Supervising
  • Caring
  • Transporting children or young people
  • Managing individuals in this category

 

If the activity is not in the list above, it becomes a Regulated Activity if it is:

  • Regular (3 days or more in a 30-day period) OR

  • Overnight (between the hours of 2am – 6am regardless of whether they are ‘on duty’, awake or asleep)
