Appendix 2: Making No Progress

The following outlines the potential process if organisations do not progress through insport Standards.

‘Making no progress’ through insport standards.

The following contribute to ‘making no progress’ (see insport live matrix):

  • No response to emails within a 2-month period
  • Missing two (2) or more planned meetings with no reorganisation plans
  •  Consistent non-attendance of Lead Officer (LO) Learning sessions in a 6-month period (with no one attending from the organisation)
  • Complete lack of engagement with Case Officer (CO) or any of the DSW team
  • Identified they do not wish to continue with insport.

Any organisation identified to be ‘Making No Progress’ will be discussed at insport Board to consider appropriate interventions and outcomes.

A number of intervention strategies may be applied to support organisations to:

  1. Continue working with Case Officer towards the next standard.
  2. Present to a panel for current Standard

These may include (but not be limited to):

  • Increased support from Case Officer
  • Professional Conversation with relevant member of the DSW team & programme specific support
  • Reassigned Case Officer
  • Peer support from similar organisations
  • Case Officer & Relationship Manager meetings to discuss support requirements.
  • CEO-to-CEO conversation

If identified to continue ‘Making no progress’ will result in the following outcomes, through dialogue and discussion with the organisation Lead Officer:

  • Discontinuation of insport and any insport Standard removed
