insport Club Lead Officer's Resource Pack
Aims for achieving insport Club Ribbon Standard
Suggested support for each of the aims can be uploaded on to the insport portal. A Case Officer will have access to the portal to view any support that the organisation have uploaded against the aims for each insport Standard, and will either approve or suggest recommendations in order to achieve the aim. It is the club’s responsibility to facilitate the demonstration of each aim.
Aims:
1. Workforce Development
- The club is aware of all coaches and volunteer qualifications.
2. Programme Support
- There is evidence that club collects information about the individual needs of all members, coaches, and volunteers.
3. Organisation
- There is a club-wide intent to be inclusive and this is communicated appropriately (internally).
- The club meets all governance standards relevant to their sport for safe operation.
- There is evidence of a club welcome/new club member induction process.
- The club communicates effectively with their members.
- On successful award of Ribbon, to make a commitment to progress to Bronze phase within a mutually agreed time frame.
